Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager Specialist

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager Specialist to support their cybersecurity infrastructure. This role combines technical expertise with collaborative problem-solving to maintain and optimize critical security systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-call support for major outage issues related to the Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager
  • Architect, design, and deploy Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager solutions
  • Maintain and optimize the Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager environment
  • Develop integrations between the proxy and other cybersecurity solutions
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and Palo Alto Support
  • Engage in technical solution design based on business requirements and use cases
  • Participate in proof of concepts and technical evaluations to provide informed recommendations
  • Support the Broadcom Bluecoat Secure Web Gateway enterprise proxy solution

Security Expertise Requirements

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and threats to evaluate potential adoption
  • Support cybersecurity requirements development, architecture design, and policy creation
  • Define security development protocols and implement controls for networking devices, databases, operating systems, and various components
  • Integrate cybersecurity development activities across platforms
  • Perform comprehensive analysis on cybersecurity data and test results
  • Contribute to the team that designs, protects, and manages security services for global infrastructure

  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Excellent listening and collaboration skills to understand requirements from IT administrators to executive stakeholders
