Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay is $20 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Applications will be kept on file until positions become available.

Skills

• Active teaching certification
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Deep understanding of individualized learning
• Personable, patient, organized, and supportive attitude
• Familiarity with Google tools (email, docs, sheets, etc.) is a plus
• Comfortable with various online tools and platforms
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam
• Availability for 15-20 hours per week during core business hours (10am - 3pm MT)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (remote work from approved locations)
• Experience with non-traditional education programs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly accountability and positive reinforcement to students
• Offer customized learning resources based on individual student needs
• Communicate regularly with parents for support and guidance
• Lead synchronous lessons and activities for small and large groups
• Design engaging, interactive lessons for diverse learning styles
• Mentor and tutor students enrolled in specific courses
• Assist students in overcoming academic challenges
• Identify students at risk and collaborate to find solutions
• Work closely with fellow teachers to ensure a well-rounded educational experience
