Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Research/Data Analyst to perform advanced data analysis, reporting, and strategic research support. Role involves extracting data from Oracle using SQL, identifying trends, preparing reports, managing research projects, and developing dashboards with Tableau. Requires minimal supervision and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Primary Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze data using SQL (Oracle).
• Perform statistical, financial, and operational data analysis.
• Clean, compile, and interpret complex datasets.
• Manage and oversee research/evaluation projects.
• Prepare and present findings; support publications.
• Build dashboards using Tableau.
• Handle internal/external data requests.
• Guide junior team members as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years lead/supervisory experience

OR Associate’s degree + 4 years related experience (2 years in lead role)

OR 2 years at IT Business Analyst equivalent level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with reporting tools, databases (SQL/Oracle), ETL, XML/JavaScript.
• 3+ years experience extracting/analyzing institutional data.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Criminal Justice or Data Management/Analysis experience (2+ years preferred).
• Tableau experience (1+ year preferred).
