Cyber Services Advisor

Senior-Level | Cybersecurity & Threat Intelligence

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Services Advisor to support regional cybersecurity initiatives, strengthen cyber preparedness, and enhance threat-intelligence sharing across public-sector, private-sector, and critical-infrastructure partners.

This role functions as a senior cyber analyst, strategic advisor, and communications lead—supporting integrated security operations, cyber threat monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and regional cyber defense activities.

Key Responsibilities

Cyber Operations & Threat Monitoring

  • Support integrated cyber operations and assist with threat monitoring and vulnerability analysis.
  • Assist cyber preparedness and incident response coordination across multi-agency partners.
  • Support exercises, planning sessions, and cyber resilience initiatives.

Threat Intelligence Program Management

  • Manage and support a regional Threat Intelligence Sharing Program (TISP).
  • Produce intelligence summaries, advisories, vulnerability updates, and IOC-based alerts.
  • Analyze, correlate, and distribute cyber intelligence from multiple sources.
  • Maintain IOC feeds and enhance cyber situational awareness.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Serve as liaison with cybersecurity partners, regional coalitions, and technical teams.
  • Deliver cyber threat briefings, technical webinars, and situational updates.
  • Maintain communication channels, distribution lists, and digital platforms.

Analysis, Reporting & Visualization

  • Produce dashboards, visual analytics, and written cyber-intel reports.
  • Identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploitation patterns.
  • Develop cyber best-practice guides, recommendations, and briefing materials.

Project Management & Deliverables

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
  • Provide weekly progress reports and maintain documentation.
  • Assist development of the regional cybersecurity strategic plan.

Required Education & Certification Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Digital Forensics, or a closely related field and relevant threat intelligence, cyber operations, incident response, senior-level cyber advisory work certifications
  • OR Equivalent military, homeland security, or federal cyber training (e.g., DoD Cyber Defense, CISA Cybersecurity Training, NSA Centers of Academic Excellence programs).

Required Experience

  • 10+ years in cybersecurity operations, cyber threat intelligence, or network security.
  • Experience producing cyber intelligence reports, advisories, dashboards, or situational briefings.
  • Experience managing or supporting cyber threat sharing platforms (ISAC/ISAO, MISP, STIX/TAXII, TIPs).
  • Strong understanding of threat actors, TTPs, vulnerabilities, and cyber risk.
  • Experience working with multi-agency cybersecurity or emergency management partners preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
