Position Summary

The HRIS Coordinator supports the administration, maintenance, and accuracy of the organization’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role is ideal for someone looking to grow a career in HR operations, HR analytics, or HR technology. The HRIS Coordinator ensures data integrity, assists with system processes and reporting, supports end users, and helps optimize HR workflows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

HRIS Administration & Data Integrity

Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS, including new hires, job changes, terminations, and employee updates.

Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Assist with system clean-up, data standardization, and documentation of processes.

Support the creation and maintenance of job codes, departments, locations, and reporting structures.

System Support & Operations

Serve as a first-line support for HRIS questions and basic troubleshooting.

Assist with system testing during upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations.

Document HRIS procedures, workflows, and user guides.

Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to support system integrations and processes.

Process Improvement & Compliance

Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through system enhancements and automation.

Support compliance initiatives by ensuring data aligns with legal and regulatory requirements.

Participate in HRIS projects such as workflow approvals, access controls, and system enhancements.

Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

2+ years of experience in HR, HR operations, HRIS, data administration, or a related role.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Basic understanding of HR processes (onboarding, job changes, employee records).

Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with an HRIS platform (Paycom preferred).

Basic experience with reporting or data analysis.

Interest in HR technology, analytics, or process improvement.

Familiarity with payroll, benefits, or compliance data.
