Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:

Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Develop new program efforts to develop Microsoft Mixed Reality (Microsoft HoloLens, etc.) for CO+I datacenter learners. Manage relationships with our Datacenter workforce, leadership, engineering, and other learning specialists as well as key members of the Microsoft Mixed Reality product team to gain insights and share inputs to the product. Build out the framework for both Mixed Reality content plans for D365 Guides and Remote Assist features of the HoloLens, but also work across the organization to foster creation of Datacenter Operations policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures through focused scenario development with both specialist teams and the field. Lead program development, practice, and adoption of the CO+I Learning organizations new "Learning Path" model, which emphasizes learner empowerment and recognition of focused learning accomplishment for both a learner's current job role and desired future role. Work closely with CO+I Learning Curriculum Managers, datacenter field Operations teams, HR (Human Resources), Talent Architecture, and key technical stakeholders within CO+I and global Engineering community to name a few. In CO+I's fast-growing population, professional roles have grown by 12 times their numbers from only a few years ago, so Learning Paths will become a learning model standard. Drive and promote applied AI products, processes and tools to the CO+I Audience. Provide training and support to various AI-related project teams, audiences and other stakeholders on the use of AI tools and technologies. Manage pilots for new training using AI tools and process introduction to the learning audience across CO+I. Produce AI-based training solutions in partnership with the Learning team, Software Engineering, and Operations in alignment with the CO+I Learning "Role Excellence" (role-based learning model) program. May conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept an additional 24 months of experience managing software and business processes for operations, systems, projects, and tools.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience managing software and business processes for operations, systems, projects, and tools.
  • Specific Skills: Training Development and Delivery; Relationship Management; Operations Strategy; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Market Research; Financial Reporting; and Quality Assurance.

Any suitable combination of education, experience, or training is acceptable.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (V8272270.c), in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $112,332 to $142,332 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
