[Remote] SAP Project Manager (DoD / Aerospace & Defense / Federal Sector)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MNR Consulting Services is seeking a seasoned SAP Project Manager with deep experience in managing complex SAP implementations within the Department of Defense, Aerospace & Defense, or Federal Government environments. The individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage project scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring the successful delivery of SAP solutions aligned with regulatory and security compliance standards unique to the federal sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle SAP project implementations, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases, with a focus on delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with DoD/Federal clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.
• Oversee the delivery of SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, FI/CO, MM, SD, WM, PP, etc.) ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance mandates such as ITAR, NIST, DFARS, and FedRAMP.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams (internal and third-party vendors), coordinate resources, and resolve project issues effectively.
• Track and report on key project metrics, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring alignment with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other government reporting standards.
• Conduct risk management assessments and develop mitigation strategies in high-security and regulated environments.
• Ensure SAP solutions integrate with legacy systems and support business continuity in classified or mission-critical operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation including project charters, business cases, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
• Foster strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor in digital transformation journeys.

Skills

• Deep experience in managing complex SAP implementations and transformations within Department of Defense (DoD), Aerospace & Defense (A&D), or Federal Government environments.
• Ability to lead full lifecycle SAP project implementations, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases.
