Pinnacle Environmental Management Support, a professional services organization offering services in the energy sector for over 30 years is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to oversee our Human Resources department and its daily operations. As the Human Resources Manager, you’ll take ownership of all HR matters: recruitment, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, development, and more.

All remote employees of Pinnacle EMS must reside in one of these states: AZ, IL, FL, NC, MA, TX

To succeed in this role, you’ll need experience as a Human Resources Manager. Excellent communication skills with an ability to lead a team of professionals are a must.

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities

  • Create and implement human resources policies and strategies, ensuring they align with organizational goals
  • Supervise the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes, delegating tasks as needed
  • Train and coach staff, determining curriculum based on organizational needs
  • Resolve employee conflicts through mediation that is both positive and professional
  • Work with department managers to perform employee evaluations on a regular basis
  • Create overview reports on the HR department on a [monthly/quarterly/yearly] basis
  • Maintain, enforce, and report on health and safety compliance issues
  • Conduct workplace investigations and subsequently perform any necessary disciplinary actions or termination procedures
  • Adhere to strict employee and workplace confidentiality policies
  • Oversee and mentor junior Human Resource Managers

Human Resources Manager Requirements

  • [3+] years as a Human Resources Manager or similar senior role on an HR team
  • BA/BS in human resources, business administration, or similar field of study
  • Master’s degree in human resources management or business administration preferred
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and human resource management software
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and relevant health and safety laws
  • Experience in the workplace with coaching employees, resolving conflict, performing disciplinary processes, and conducting workplace investigations
  • Superb leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present to groups both small and large
  • Fantastic problem-solving and organizational skills

Work schedule Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm EST
