Web/SEO Specialist

Position Overview
We’re a fast-moving, performance-driven company helping clients dominate both local and national search results. Our team blends creativity, data, and technology to drive real results—and we’re looking for a highly technical SEO expert with web development experience to join us in Denver. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and implement solutions to improve crawlability, indexation, site speed, and user experience
- Implement SEO enhancements directly into front-end and back-end systems
- Optimize for both local SEO (map pack visibility, citations, local landing pages) and national SEO (content scaling, technical infrastructure)
- Own the structure and performance of large-scale websites, including schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and site migrations
- Use development skills to write or review code related to SEO fixes (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
- Manage and optimize robots.txt, XML sitemaps, redirects, canonical tags, hreflang, etc.
- Build and maintain SEO dashboards, monitor performance metrics, and deliver actionable reports to internal teams and clients
- Stay on top of search engine algorithm changes and translate those into strategy adjustments
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably on both local and national campaigns
- Solid web development experience with the ability to dive into the code
- Strong understanding of search engine behavior, site architecture, rendering, and crawl budgets
- Familiarity with frameworks such as WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, React, or custom CMS setups
- Hands-on experience with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Tag Manager, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and PageSpeed Insights
- Deep knowledge of local SEO strategies including GMB optimization, local schema, citation building, and geo-targeted landing pages
- Experience with structured data (JSON-LD), Core Web Vitals, and technical performance tuning
- A problem-solving mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large multi-location websites
- Knowledge of cloud hosting, CDNs, or server-side rendering impacts on SEO
- Familiarity with automation tools, Python, or SEO scripts
