UX Designer (Part-Time)

Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative User Experience Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, user-centred digital experiences across a variety of platforms. This role involves collaborating with product development teams to design intuitive interfaces, conduct user research, and implement best practices in UX/UI design. The successful applicant will have a strong foundation in front-end development, data visualisation, and interaction design, with a keen eye for usability and information architecture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing products, identifying usability gaps, and providing clear, constructive feedback that leads to meaningful improvements.
You will work closely with our product and development teams to ensure the app delivers an intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and gather business requirements to inform design strategies
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision
- Review and evaluate the Recz app’s user experience and interface across key user flows
- Provide constructive, actionable feedback on usability, accessibility, and visual design
- Identify friction points and recommend UX/UI improvements backed by best practices
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify feedback and suggestions
- Help prioritize UX enhancements based on impact and feasibility
- Stay aligned with modern UX trends, standards, and design principles
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio demonstrating work on web applications or digital products
- Skilled in wireframing and prototyping tools including Balsamiq, Axure, Zeplin, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Knowledge of information architecture, interaction design principles, and data visualisation techniques
- Understanding of the SDLC process within product development environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams using project management tools like Jira or SharePoint
- Strong analysis skills with the capacity to interpret complex data into actionable insights
