Empower Students in Georgia – Work Remotely as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated and skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our team of virtual educators. This is a unique opportunity to support students in a remote setting, helping them access quality education and thrive in their learning environments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction to DHH students via a secure online platform
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and communication needs
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
- Partner with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
- Utilize a variety of digital resources to enhance student engagement and understanding
Requirements
- Available for at least 25 hours a week (part-time and full-time positions available)
- Hold a current teaching license in the state of Georgia with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement
- Previous experience teaching DHH students, preferably in a virtual or hybrid setting
- Strong technology skills and familiarity with online instruction platforms
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
