Empower Students in Georgia – Work Remotely as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

VocoVision is looking for a dedicated and skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our team of virtual educators. This is a unique opportunity to support students in a remote setting, helping them access quality education and thrive in their learning environments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction to DHH students via a secure online platform
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and communication needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
  • Partner with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
  • Utilize a variety of digital resources to enhance student engagement and understanding

Requirements

  • Available for at least 25 hours a week (part-time and full-time positions available)
  • Hold a current teaching license in the state of Georgia with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement
  • Previous experience teaching DHH students, preferably in a virtual or hybrid setting
  • Strong technology skills and familiarity with online instruction platforms
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
