Amazon FBM Apparel Catalog & FlatFilePro Specialist (Bulk Uploads, Fixes, & Training)

We operate an established Amazon FBM apparel store with a large catalog and are looking for an experienced Amazon catalog specialist who is highly skilled in bulk uploading and catalog correction using FlatFilePro (or similar flat-file tools).

This project involves auditing, fixing, optimizing, and relisting roughly 15,000 SKUs (primarily variation/child SKUs), ensuring inventory is correctly uploaded, and getting listings active and compliant.

At the end of the project, you will also be responsible for training our in-house Amazon rep on how to use FlatFilePro and your process so she can confidently handle bulk uploads and future catalog updates.

Scope of Work

Your main responsibilities will include

Catalog Audit & Strategy

Review our current Amazon FBM apparel catalog (≈15,000 SKUs; mostly parent/child variations).

Identify broken, inactive, suppressed, or incomplete listings.

Develop a clear, step-by-step plan to bring all listings into a healthy, active, and optimized state.

Bulk Uploads & Listing Fixes (FlatFilePro)

Use FlatFilePro (and/or Amazon flat files) to

Correct parent/child relationships for variation listings (sizes, colors, styles, etc.).

Fix listing errors, missing attributes, and conflicts.

Resolve duplication and merge where appropriate.

Upload and map inventory quantities correctly to all SKUs.

Ensure all listings comply with Amazon policies and apparel-specific requirements.

Optimization & Cleanup

Improve titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords where needed (within project scope and Amazon guidelines).

Standardize variation themes, size/color naming conventions, and key attributes across the catalog.

Ensure browse nodes, categories, and product types are set correctly for apparel.

Issue Resolution

Address stranded, suppressed, or inactive listings and get them active.

Work through common catalog issues such as

“Listing violation” or “incomplete product information”

Incorrect parent-child structures

SKU vs ASIN mismatches

Communicate clearly about any blockers that require our input.

Training & Handover

Create a simple, clear SOP / process document for our in-house Amazon rep explaining:

How to prepare data for FlatFilePro

How to bulk upload new listings and variations

How to update pricing, inventory, and attributes in bulk

Conduct live training sessions via screen share and/or call to walk her through:
