About the Role

A Minnesota school district is seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support to K8 students. This role offers a flexible caseload tailored to your strengths, with classroom support provided to ensure student success. Youll help students access curriculum, develop academic and functional skills, and achieve their IEP goals in a fully remote setting.

Position Details

• Grade Levels: K8
• Schedule: Part-time or full-time, flexible hours based on candidate availability
• Caseload: Formed based on candidate strengths, with classroom support provided

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual direct instruction to K8 students receiving special education services.
• Adapt lessons, materials, and accommodations to ensure access and engagement.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with general and special education staff.
• Communicate regularly with families to support student progress.
• Leverage your strengths to guide caseload selection and instructional approach.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota Special Education teaching license.
• Experience teaching K8 students in school-based settings; virtual experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction for a remote learning environment.
