Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media content calendars across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
  • Support the creation of engaging multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Help analyze social media performance data and contribute to reporting.
  • Engage with online communities and respond to comments and messages under supervision.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on various digital campaigns and initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong interest in social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of digital content creation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Previous experience with personal or academic social media management.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
