[Remote] Lead Product Designer -- HealthTech, UX/UI & New Product Development

They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of their AI-powered DNA experience, owning the end-to-end user experience and collaborating with engineers to create engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end UX for our DNA insights platform (from user input to result cards)
  • Own the end-to-end user experience across core product areas
  • Designing intuitive, evidence-backed experiences in complex subject matter (genetics, AI)
  • Prototyping (Figma or interactive) and collaborating tightly with engineers
  • Building a simple, trustworthy design system and visual language
  • Conducting usability studies and translating findings into UX improvements
  • Pairing with AI/LLM engineers to improve chat results, input/output structure, and navigation
  • Define and track success metrics both quantitative (engagement, activation) and qualitative (user satisfaction, clarity)

Skills

  • 5–10+ years experience in product design, UX, or interaction design
  • Skilled at user research, journey mapping, and rapid prototyping
  • Strong portfolio of end-to-end design work: problem → exploration → shipped result → impact
  • Comfort designing data-heavy, health-related, or AI-enhanced products
  • Experience building or extending design systems
  • Deep UX and visual craft from wireframes to flows to final UI polish
  • Background in genomics, science platforms, or tools with regulatory context (HIPAA/CLIA)
