Duration : 6+ Months

Location : Bolingbrook, IL (Need only LOCAL candidate)

Job Description

Must have managed large CyberSecurity projects

A cybersecurity focused project manager leads and manages the complete development and delivery of cybersecurity and technology risk initiatives or project solutions through the entire project life cycle. The project manager is accountable for developing, maintaining, and governing all project artifacts.

The project manager serves as a liaison between the Portfolio Managers, technical and functional stakeholders and the project team to keep the project moving forward smoothly and in accordance with project plan. The project manager ensures the project complies with the ULTA PMO methodology, including but not limited to documentation requirements, change control, proper approvals and gate controls.

Create Project Kick off material and facilitate project meetings

Develop and maintain high level project milestones and detailed project plan (e.g., risk assessments, control remediation, IAM governance, vulnerability risk remediation, regulatory compliance initiatives)

Develop and distribute regular communication with project stakeholders and sponsors

Provide weekly project status, schedule, risk, and control-impact updates to Portfolio Managers and project teams

Partner with Portfolio Managers to maintain resource and capacity forecasts

Create Status Updates biweekly for the In-Flight/Governance meeting, highlighting technology risks, control gaps, and remediation progress

Perform, prepares, lead, and close activities per ULTA's meeting guidelines for project meetings

Facilitate Requirements Approval, Risk & Control Reviews, Architecture Review, & Design Walk through meetings

Coordinate with ITRM, Audit, Compliance, and Architecture teams to ensure solutions align with risk frameworks, policies, and standards

Ensure necessary Testing and validation activities are completed (e.g., control testing, evidence validation, remediation verification)

Manage the project scope to the established baseline, with focus on risk, compliance, and control impacts

Facilitate the project change request process if needed

Ensure Change Control approvals are in place as needed including ITRM sign-off where required

Engage ITRM teams to complete Technology Risk Assessments, vendor risk reviews, and control evaluations

Maintain Project Document Tracker for risk artifacts, remediation evidence, and governance documentation

Assess, document and control project risks and issues. Escalate to Portfolio Managers and Stakeholders as needed

Maintain Risk Mitigation plan if the project is defined as High Risk per the Project Risk Prioritization exercise

Ensure Rollout Plan is documented and communicated

Facilitate implementation planning meeting and coordinate cut over activities

Facilitate and capture Lessons Learned

Knowledge of Planview PPM tool preferred

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

Bachelor's degree required; Certification in Project Management preferred.

5+ years of experience in a project management capacity managing infrastructure initiatives

5+ Years of CyberSecurity exp

5+ years of project management experience with focus on retail industry

Experience with Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (Planview preferred)

Expert Project Management skills including estimating, planning, tracking, resource, cost, issue, risk, scope and change request management, and decision tracking

Experience managing enterprise level IT projects

Exceptional influencing, leadership and collaboration skills with demonstrated excellence in building strong relationships with internal Business and IT leadership

Effective leader of cross functional teams

Team building and ability to inspire others with a shared vision

Results driven leader that owns the projects, has managerial courage, integrity and organizational agility

Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and leadership communication

Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
