Remote PPC Digital Marketing Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a PPC Specialist (Full-Time, US-Based) focused on hands-on management and optimization of Google Ads campaigns. This role emphasizes execution, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to drive traffic, conversions, and ROI. The PPC Specialist will work closely with marketing and analytics teams to implement campaigns, optimize performance, and ensure accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and optimize campaigns primarily on Google Search, with additional support for Google Display/Performance Max, and Meta.
- Analyze campaign performance with a focus on cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Apply critical thinking to keyword intent and targeting, identifying gaps and opportunities in existing strategies.
- Leverage automation, AI, and tracking tools, while ensuring a human-in-the-loop approach to maintain quality and relevance
- Test alternative platforms when Google Search does not deliver expected results (e.g., Meta, Bing, Reddit, Taboola)
- Respond via internal ticketing system when changes are requested
- Provide reporting and insights internally. This is a back-end role (not client-facing), collaborating with department heads and account managers for client communications
Must-Have Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max).
- Familiarity with Meta Ads
- Proficiency with English, written and spoken
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and strong data analysis skills
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret performance results and recommend optimizations
- Ability to think like the customer, analyzing keyword intent deeply to improve conversions.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach
- Availability for full-time work, focusing on daily campaign execution.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of additional PPC platforms such as Bing Ads, Reddit, Taboola, or programmatic advertising
- Experience with YouTube Ads and Connected TV (CTV), which are future areas of interest
- Familiarity with Google My Business/Maps optimization for boosting local rankings
- Ability to incorporate automation and AI tools while keeping human oversight in decision-making

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
