[Remote] Software Engineer (Go)

They are seeking a Software Engineer proficient in Go to design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs, while collaborating with data scientists and front-end developers to create AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Go
• Build scalable, high-performance, and secure data management solutions with MongoDB
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to integrate with ML models and external systems
• Collaborate with data scientists and front-end developers to create end-to-end AI-powered applications
• Implement best practices: clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Apply algorithms, data structures, and CS principles to optimize back-end performance
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for scalability and reliability
• Ensure security and integrity of back-end systems and data
• Stay current with back-end technologies and ML integration

Skills

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with proficiency in Go for back-end development (all experience levels welcome)
• Strong experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and CS principles
• Experience developing and deploying RESTful APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills, solid software engineering foundation, and ability to write efficient, scalable code
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
