Role: Project Manager (PM)

Location: Remote ( Washington, DC) [Note: some travel to DC region for Occasional meetings will be required]

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance

Task Description

  • Project Manager (PM) shall have the responsibility for the planning, execution, and control of all aspects of this project and the authority to commit the Contractor to specific courses of action.
  • In addition, the PM shall be responsible for directing its subcontracting/sub agreement efforts.
  • The PM shall have the necessary authority to use the company’s resources to ensure the tasks of this PWS are accomplished.
  • The PM shall be authorized to deal directly with various Government Agency’s Program Offices and/or the designated representative on all matters pertaining to this project.
  • The PM shall coordinate and communicate the planning and status of activities and deliverables with the government weekly
  • The PM shall coordinate and support program management and reporting activities managed by the government PMO, to include submission of project schedules, contribution to periodic interim progress reviews (IPRs), and participation in status meetings pertinent to this contract.

Required skills/Level of Experience

  • 10+ Year experience along with Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Provides leadership and direction to teams for software development, delivery, cloud hosting, operations, and continual enhancement.
  • Supports all aspects of the development and implementation of a project, from concept through closure.
  • Defines project scope and objectives.
  • Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Clearly communicates expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Helps ensure adherence to corporate standards and practices and serves as a key element in the escalation process.
  • Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Manages changes in project scope, as well as issues and risks.
  • Defines project success criteria and disseminates them throughout project lifecycle.
  • Coaches, mentors, motivates, and supervises project team members.
  • Supports project financial management and administrative activities, including budgeting, manpower, resource planning, and financial reporting.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance
