About the position
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Bob Moore Auto Group plays a crucial role in aligning business objectives with employees and management across various business units. This position is responsible for performing professional-level duties in key functional areas such as employee relations, recruitment and selection, training and development, HR reporting, and special administrative projects. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as both an employee champion and a change agent. The successful candidate will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, proactively communicating these needs at all levels of the organization. The overarching goal is to ensure that the HR department operates smoothly and effectively, delivering maximum value to the business units and the organization as a whole. In this role, the HRBP will maintain a strong understanding of the organization's financial position, culture, and competitive landscape. Responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, performing full-life cycle recruiting, and providing a best-in-class candidate experience through effective communication and relationship building. The HRBP will also provide in-store support to business units and assist employees with various HR-related topics, including employee relations, leaves of absence, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, and organizational development. Additionally, the HRBP will guide employees and management on company policies, assist in improving policies and procedures, and provide performance management guidance to management and team members. The HRBP will manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations as necessary. This includes handling employment claims such as unemployment and EEOC investigations, while maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and compliance. The HRBP will also participate in follow-up training objectives to ensure departmental goals are met, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand each business unit's hiring needs.

- Perform full-life cycle recruiting, including screening, interviewing, recommending qualified candidates, selection, and onboarding.

- Provide Best in Class candidate experience through communication, relationship building, and execution of the recruiting process.

- Provide in-store support to respective business units.
,
- Support employees in various HR related topics, such as employee relations, leaves of absences, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, and organization development.

- Provide company policy guidance and interpretation to employees and management.
,
- Assist Director of Human Resources in driving improvements to policies, procedures, and best practices.
,
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management and team members.
,
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
,
- Handle employment claims, such as unemployment, EEOC and all related HR related investigations.
,
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and compliance related and partner with legal as needed/required.

- Participate in the follow-up with team member training objectives to ensure department goals are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related area.
,
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, 3+ years.
,
- Experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
,
- Experience in recruiting and advising hiring managers on employee selection.
,
- Preferred PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
,
- Valid driver's license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
