THE OPPORTUNITYThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with our Technology business leaders within our restaurant support centers (RSC) to deliver on Chipotle people process and develop people strategies that support Chipotle's strategic priorities. Providing thought partnership, coaching and recommendations, the HRBP will help functional leaders cultivate work environments consistent with our purpose and values. This role will use their understanding of HR principles and employment laws, to support all elements of the talent lifecycle, and apply their knowledge to identify practical solutions for our business challenges.WHAT YOU'LL DOPartner with leadership in the restaurant support center to engage and develop people strategies to drive our company and functional priorities; including onboarding, development, engagement, performance and talent management.Work with RSC leaders as a change agent to effectively lead teams through change.Drive HR initiatives (such as succession planning, talent calibrations, compensation cycles) and provide feedback to the centers of excellence to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of programs.Interpret and apply understanding of Chipotle policies and practices, employment law and other regulations to provide advice, guidance and/or clarification for ER related inquiries.; Conduct timely employee relations investigations and make recommendations on the appropriate course of action in partnership with the key stakeholders; including partnership with legal.Work closely with the RSC leadership teams and the HR team (in the Newport Beach and remote) to ensure that we build one culture that reflects our values.Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (i.e., WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLEBachelor's degree in a related field preferred5-7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalentExperience working as an HRBP with corporate functions preferredProfessional Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM-CP certifications preferredGeneral knowledge of federal and statement employment laws, strong communication, problem solving, influencing and conflict resolution skills, ability to prioritize and use sound judgment to make good decisionsPartner with leadership in the restaurant support center to engage and develop employees in order to drive our strategic priorities.Conduct timely employee relations investigations and make recommendations on the appropriate course of action in partnership with the key stakeholders.Drive HR initiatives, be a self-starter and provide feedback for improvement.Interpret and apply understanding of Chipotle policies and practices, employment law and other regulations to provide advice, guidance and/or clarification for ER related inquiries.Travel, 4x per year, or as neededIntermediate level experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Experience using WorkdayPAY TRANSPARENCYA reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $113,000.You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors.
