Job Overview
We invite applications for the position of Human Resources (HR) Associate, a pivotal role within our remote HR team. This position is designed for a motivated and meticulous individual who will play a key role in ensuring the effective functioning of our HR operations while nurturing a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Conduct preliminary candidate assessments and maintain comprehensive recruitment records.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to clarify job specifications and update job descriptions as necessary.
- Facilitate onboarding activities, ensuring completion of documentation in the HRIS system.
- Organize orientation sessions and guide new hires through the employee handbook.
- Manage benefits administration, including overseeing open enrollment and addressing employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Ensure payroll accuracy by processing personnel changes and handling bi-weekly payroll activities.
- Maintain electronic personnel files while guaranteeing confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Support initiatives aimed at cultivating a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Assist in conflict resolution between employees and management, fostering strong workplace relationships.
- Partner with the HR Manager on performance evaluation processes and compliance with employment laws.
- Research and advocate for training opportunities to enhance employee development.
- Coordinate company events and volunteer activities to strengthen team engagement.
- Conduct exit interviews and compile feedback for management consideration.
Required Skills
- Proven strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at managing confidential information professionally.
Qualifications
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of HR experience is required, with 5+ years preferred.
