About the position The Seasonal Professional Development Specialist position at Imagine Learning is designed for experienced educators who are looking to make a significant impact in the K-12 educational landscape. This role is particularly suited for former teachers who wish to leverage their expertise in a flexible, seasonal capacity. The primary responsibility of the Specialist is to provide content-specific support, training, and guidance in the implementation of blended and online learning programs. This includes delivering workshops and sessions to educators on how to effectively integrate digital solutions into their curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. The position requires the Specialist to develop and modify individualized learning paths for students, design classroom assessments, and run assessment reports to ensure that educators are equipped with the necessary tools to enhance student learning outcomes. The role is seasonal and part-time, with peak work occurring from June through October. During this time, the Specialist will engage in both virtual and onsite workshops, depending on the requests from school districts. The position requires two full days of onsite work in Philadelphia, PA, on October 24 and 25, where the Specialist will deliver professional development sessions. Compensation for this role ranges from $150 for a half-day to $550 for a full day, with additional incentives based on performance. The flexibility of the position allows for a customizable schedule, making it ideal for those who do not require a set minimum earnings level each week or month. Requirements • A bachelor's degree (graduate degree strongly preferred). , • At least 2 years of experience with blended and/or online learning (5 or more years preferred). , • Current or past teaching certification. , • Experience delivering successful professional development, training, and/or consulting services in an educational environment is strongly preferred. , • Teaching and/or curriculum and instruction experience, including interacting with and influencing key decision-makers is preferred. , • Ability to work remotely and independently. , • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. , • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills. , • Ability to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes. , • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online video chat, and database software. Nice-to-haves • Experience in K-12 education settings. , • Familiarity with assessment tools and educational technology. , • Ability to provide a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or proof of application within 7 days of hire.
