International Grains and Cereal (IGC), is part of the Empresas Polar group, specializes in producing yellow, white, and sweet corn flour. Our internationally recognized brand, P.A.N. Corn Meal can be found today in over 60 countries. We buy domestic corn from local farmers, mill the corn in our plant, and ship the finished products domestically and internationally. About the Role
The Human Resources Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the HR function within a food manufacturing environment by analyzing and optimizing workforce data and HR processes. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with affirmative action regulations and maintaining accurate employee relations records to foster a positive workplace culture. The analyst will manage and evaluate HR systems (ADP) to streamline, performance management, benefits administration, employee training, and compensation structures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Ultimately, the Human Resources Analyst contributes to strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights that enhance employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. The HRA will assist in recruitment and onboarding.

HR systems expertise enables the analyst to efficiently manage, recruiting, training onboarding, benefits administration and performance management workflows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Skilled in interpreting workforce data such as turnover rates, satisfaction, cost-per-hire, and productivity in fast-paced, regulated environments. Proficiency with ADP, Excel (Pivot table, formulas) - is key for accurate data handling and reporting. Preferred skills such as advanced data analytics and project leadership enhance the ability to deliver strategic insights and drive continuous improvement in HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and maintain affirmative action plans and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage employee relations documentation and assist in resolving workplace issues in collaboration with HR and management.
- Administer HR systems related to training, benefits enrollment, performance management tracking, and compensation data.
- Analyze employee retainment and turnover structure.
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment.
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics to inform leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives that improve workforce engagement and productivity.
- Translate complex data into understandable and actionable reports or dashboards.
- Sharp eye for detail and solid understanding of compliance requirements.
- Predictive analytics to anticipate workforce needs and from strong-problem-solving skills to navigate staffing constrains or regulatory challenges.
- Assist in Talent Acquisition
- Manage onboarding.
- Contribute to a positive Total Rewards program.
Qualifications
Proficiency with HR information systems and data analysis tools. Strong knowledge of affirmative action regulations and employee relations best practices.
Knowledge in U.S. Employment Law & Regulations
Familiar with Risk Management.
Professional HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
Experience working in food manufacturing.
Familiarity with deferred compensation plans and advanced salary survey methodologies.
Advanced skills in data analytics and reporting software.
Demonstrated ability to lead HR projects and cross-departmental initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data analytics, talent acquisition, benefits administration and performance management processes. Certification and supervisor experience highly desired.
Experience in food manufacturing.
Education details
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
