About the opportunity:

We are looking for a strategic Sr. HR Generalist to join our dynamic team and scale our HR processes. Reporting directly to the VP of People Operations, you will support day-to-day operations, including new employee onboarding, HR administration, and compliance, fostering healthy workplace practices throughout every department. You have a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle to provide the ultimate white glove service to our employees. You will operate with a high degree of integrity and transparency to ensure Jerry’s people operations are reliable and seamless. Jerry is building the first AllCar™ super app to help people optimize all aspects of owning a car – insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc – a $2T market in the U.S. We started with insurance in 2019, and since then we’ve launched loan refinancing, real-time driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot and voicebot. We have amassed over 5M customers, raised $240M in funding, scaled our revenue 40X and our team to 250 across 7 countries.

How you will make an impact:

  • Automate workflows in HR processes to minimize inefficiencies and scale operations
  • Provide an immersive onboarding experience for new hires to highlight how their role has real impact on the business and the business of our customers
  • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs. Help gather feedback from employees and contribute to creating an inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, assist with benefits administration, and ensure HR data is up-to-date in HRIS systems. Help with the preparation of HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide basic guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support the HR team in addressing employee concerns and resolving issues.

Preferred experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 4-6 years of people operations experience (experience weathering a high-growth startup strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of human resources best practices and employment law
  • Experience in implementing and building HR automations and systems
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Industrial Psychology, or similar preferred
  • Certification in SHRM or HRCI preferred
