Overview:

Propelex LLC a cybersecurity consulting firm, is in search of a passionate and tech-savvy Sales and Business Development Specialist. This role requires a unique blend of cybersecurity knowledge and sales expertise. The ideal candidate will not only understand the nuances of today's cybersecurity landscape but will also possess the drive and skillset to identify and convert potential leads into satisfied clients.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a 5–6 month cybersecurity assessment project for one of our clients. This is a contract-based role requiring a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week. While most of the work can be performed remotely, the role involves travel to the client site approximately once per month.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing IT or cybersecurity-related projects and working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of the cybersecurity assessment project
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, internal teams, and stakeholders
• Create and maintain project documentation including timelines, meeting notes, and reports
• Monitor project deliverables, risks, and progress to ensure milestones are met
• Facilitate remote and on-site meetings with technical teams and client representatives
• Manage project scope, schedule, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to client contractual requirements)
• Proven experience in project management (3+ years preferred)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in IT or cybersecurity projects is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently and drive project execution in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to client site approximately once per month
• PMP, CSM, or similar certifications are a plus
