Mid-Level Employee Engagement & HR Generalist

Pay Range: $62000 - $68000/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and strengthen employee satisfaction.
- Plan and execute employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and company events.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other channels to continuously improve engagement and morale.
- Experience using Dayforce platform is a plus.
- HR Administration:
- Support HR operations by managing employee data, maintaining HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, documentation, and benefits enrollment.
- Process employee requests related to leave, benefits, payroll, and general HR inquiries.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping for employee files and assist with audits and reporting as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
- Wellness Program:
- Plan, promote, and manage employee wellness initiatives (e.g., fitness challenges, financial wellness programs).
- Collaborate with external wellness vendors to provide resources and activities that support employees’ physical and mental well-being.
- Act as a point of contact for employees seeking wellness resources and guidance.
- Ensure that wellness initiatives align with the overall company culture and employee needs.
- Office Management:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, and coordinate office supplies, equipment, and general maintenance needs.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers (e.g., office supplies, cleaning, snacks, etc.).
- Support workplace logistics for hybrid or remote teams, ensuring smooth integration between in-office and remote employees.
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive office atmosphere.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee engagement, HR administration, or office management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage with employees at all levels.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools such as Dayforce
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a passion for improving employee experiences and workplace culture.
- Experience with wellness program development and implementation is a plus.
- Knowledge of office management best practices and basic facilities management
