HR Assistant - Remote

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, functions and duties
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department
  • Compile and update employee records
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.)
  • Coordinate benefits, including the health insurance program

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Hands-on experience with an HRMS and MS Office proficiency
  • Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Problem solving skills

  • HR certification
  • Experience with HR software implementation
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
