HR Assistant - Remote

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, functions and duties
- Provide administrative support to the HR department
- Compile and update employee records
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.)
- Coordinate benefits, including the health insurance program
Essential skills:
- Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Hands-on experience with an HRMS and MS Office proficiency
- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Problem solving skills
Bonus points:
- HR certification
- Experience with HR software implementation
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
