Curriculum Trainer/Classroom Coach Consultants

TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. TeachTown is currently seeking Curriculum Trainer/Classroom Coach Consultants to deliver on-site training, and webinars to customers on TeachTown curricula in districts across the U.S. This is a contract position for individuals who are interested in a variable work schedule throughout the school year and are excited about traveling to schools within an assigned territory. This position will be scheduled on an as-needed basis throughout the school year, with peak periods between July through October.
This position will be remote, with an expectation of travel within your state.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Training
- Educating and supporting our school district teams via virtual and in-person courses
- Train and coach educational teams on their TeachTown curricula
- Promote learning and understanding of the implementation of their TeachTown curricula
- Collaborate with district team to ensure curricula and training integrate with district goals for training
- In the moment problem solving, support, and education on our tools, technology, and services
Basic Requirements
- 3-5 years classroom teaching experience working in Special Education in a public-school setting
- Reliable transportation, valid state-issued driver’s license, and a good driving record
- Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven strong facilitation, presentation, and training skills - This includes and is not limited to delivering engaging presentations to audiences of all background and experience levels, effective delivery of multiple courses on different topics, and providing exceptional customer service
- Proven experience breaking down complex software processes for non-technical users
- Experience working with Google, Microsoft, Apple, Dell, Chromebooks, iPads and large interactive whiteboards
- Ability to dedicate at maximum 10 hours per week within the first 4 weeks of employment to complete required product training
- Proactive self-starter and quick learner
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Remote position but must be able to travel to assigned locations with overnight stays
- Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor, kneeling, sitting, standing for extended periods of time.
Preferred Experience
- BCBA, or working towards certification
- Mastery of TeachTown curricula in a moderate to severe classroom setting
