About the position

The Human Resources Business Partner I at HomeGoods plays a crucial role in supporting the HR functions within the Distribution Center. This position involves engaging with various HR areas such as talent management, labor relations, and associate relations, while fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity. The HRBP will work closely with managers and associates to enhance HR operations and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Be actively involved with many areas of HR, including talent management, talent mapping and development, labor relations/union, associate relations, and risk management.

• Coach and counsel client group managers to champion a culture of inclusion and diversity and adhere to TJX's leadership competencies and cultural factors.

• Support talent development activities that accelerate leadership readiness and succession planning.

• Build solid relationships with associates by being hands-on and walking the floor.

• Identify areas of HR-related improvement opportunities within the distribution center.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct experience as a Human Resource Generalist or HRBP.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

,

• Ability to pair strategic and tactical thinking for HR operations.

,

• Knowledge of Ohio State and Federal employment law (i.e. ADA, FMLA).

• Prior experience working with a Union is a plus.
